Last Caress Productions (LCP) is an independent production company built strategically over the years with the intent to be a purposeful part of the kindling that lights the independent filmmaking fire in and around Columbus, GA,south-southeastern, alongside other local production companies Strongland Creative, Philmwurks, Deathkiss Productions, and Mud Films.
Columbus, GA, is a 1 and 1/2 hour drive from the south-eastern film hub of Atlanta, GA, and boasts both accredited degree and certification programs from Columbus State University and the Georgia Film Academy as well as other surrounding institutions, such as Auburn University.
We are primed to become a major filmmaking hub.
In order to meet the goal, we need to consistently make films and therefore ensure a reliable flow of opportunities. It is our belief that a thriving low-budget scene will amplify the opportunities across all budget levels.

Reinvest!
Last Caress Productions invests a portion of its profit to reinvest in the local community:
- Annual short film grants. Once a year we will host a pitch session for budding local filmmakers to pitch their ideas for a short film. We will award the winner with a monetary grant and support to ensure a successful project.
- Co-production/investment in other feature films or series. A rising tide lifts all boats.
- Annual film festival - an experience in Columbus unlike anything we've seen before.

Paul Rowe is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer out of Columbus, GA. As an enthusiastic supporter of the local filmmaking community, he is also a founding member of Columbus State University's Rankin Screenwriter's group and co-founder of Fountain City Fright Fest, a genre film festival hosted in Columbus, GA.
